2007年のポスター展のとき、印刷はしましたが世に出す事はなかったポスターです。

事務所のある岩佐ビルでの展示という事でビル内の面白い場所とタイポグラフィを重ねたヴィジュアルにしてみました。

仕上がってみると、思ったほどインパクトがなかったので使うのをやめてしまいました。

こういう無駄とも思えるプロセスが実は大事だったりしますよね。（負け惜しみ）

このときはじめてB0縦のポスターを作りました。シルクでスミ1色。4連です。スタッフ全員の顔を正面から撮影して遊ばせてもらいました。少しでも変なヴィジュアルをめざして楽しみました。どうしてこの案でいこうと思ったかというと、この展覧会はスタッフだけの出品で僕が参加してないんですね。人の顔をいじる分には気楽なもんですよ。自分の顔があったら思いきってつくれない気がします。
何はともあれ大きいっていうのは気持ちいいもんですね。

This poster was printed for the poster exhibition 2007, but has never been shown in public places.
Because the exhibition was held in the IWASE building, in which our office was located, I designed this visual by overprinting interesting places in the building and typographies.

However, the finished work didn’t have as much impact as I expected. So I gave up using the visual.

I always believe those vain processes are necessary efforts for designers in order to improve their skills. (I hope this doesn’t sound like an excuse.)
