スージー（黒岩静枝）恒例のクリスマスライブ。
キッパーズと同じく、毎年札幌グランドホテルで開催されてます。
24日、25日と、ホントにクリスマス当日でした。
この年は「fuse」の井上淑彦さん（sax）がゲスト。この方がまたずいぶんカッコいいらしいです。

さらにピアノは市川秀男さん。市川さんのピアノ、気持ちいいです。

このポスターは、マッチ売りの少女がテーマ。
マッチで火をつけ続けると、目の前に優しいおばあさんが現れて少女を天国へ連れて行くんですが、
そのおばあさんがスージーというわけですね。本人にはおばあさんなんて言えませんが。

マッチ売りの少女、本当は大晦日の話なんですけどね。

Suzie’s (Mrs. Suzie Kuroiwa’s) annual Christmas concert was held in Sapporo Grand Hotel. The Kippers also held their concert at the same venue. Suzie’s concert was held on December 24th and 25th, the precise days of Christmas Eve and the Christmas. This year the guest was a saxophone player, Mr. Toshihiko Inoue. I heard he is a really cool guy.

Mr. Hideo Ichikawa also joined the concert as a pianist. His piano playing always makes me feel really good.

The theme of this poster is “the little match girl.” When the girl lights a fire with her match, a kind old lady appears in front of her and takes her to the heaven. The old lady is Suzie. I would never say “old lady” in front of her though.

Well, I have to tell you that “the little match girl” is actually the story of the New Year’s Eve.
