東京のミッドタウンで行われたデザインリボン展。

タコの吸盤をモチーフにしています。ネタとしては気持ちいいものではありませんが、
遠目で見るとあまり気にならない感じでした。
新村さんには「僕がやらなきゃいけないネタだなあ」なんて言われました。確かに。

オープニングパーティのときに行ったので、
東京のデザイナーの方たちと話してばかりいてちっとも作品を見る時間がなく帰ってきてしまいました。
なので北海道からの出品で気がついたのはワビサビの「ホルモンリボン」だけでした。
もっと良く見たかったし、いくつか買いたかったので、くやしいですね。

「GIFT 〜未来へ託すデザインリボン」

クリスマス、お正月、バレンタインデーといったギフトシーズンにあわせ、
日本グラフィックデザイナー協会の会員デザイナーがデザインしたオリジナルのリボンを展示。
愛するパートナーや子どもたちへ、美しい日本や地球へ。ひとり一人の想いを込めたリボンを、未来へ託す気持ちでデザインします。

I went to a ribbon design exhibition held in Tokyo Midtown. My work is the　one in front in the picture. The motif is sucker of squid. Some may not have a good impression about the motif, but it has a good looking from a distance.

Four ribbons of my design have been sold only in a week after exhibition started. Since each artist can sell only ten ribbons, it seems my ribbon is likely to get sold out before the end.

I attended the opening party. Because I spent most of the time talking with designers from Tokyo, I had little time to see other works before I came back to Hokkaido. Among the works from Hokkaido, I only noticed the one of WABISABI, “Hormone Ribbon.” I wish I had seen more and had bought some other ribbons.

“GIFT ~ Send Design Ribbons to the Future”

This is an exhibition of original ribbons designed by members of JAGDA (Japan Graphic Designers Association) in this gift season of Christmas, New Year’s and Valentine’s Day. The ribbons are gifts for the loved ones, children, Japanese beauty, and our blue planet. Each designer produce design ribbons which will be given to our future.
